The Vanderbilt Commodores defeated Ole Miss 30-7, on Saturday. Each week VandyMania.com honors an offensive, defensive, and unsung hero of the game. Look inside to see which players get honored this week.

OFFENSE: Zac Stacy

Stacy, a junior running back from Centreville, Ala., ran for 177 yards on only 11 carries (15.4 yds per carry). His 77-yard gallop in the third quarter gave the Commodores a commanding 30-0 lead.

DEFENSE: Trey Wilson

Trey Wilson, a junior cornerback from Shreveport, La., had two interceptions and three pass breakups. Wilson returned the first interception 52 yards for a Commodore touchdown giving his team a 14-0 lead.

UNSUNG HERO AWARD: Richard Kent

Kent, a junior punter from Marietta, Ga., had four punts for a 51.8 yard average. Early in the second quarter Kent boomded a punt from deep in Vandy territory which traveled 64 yards and was downed at the Ole Miss 19.
