Players of the Week

The Vanderbilt Commodores fell to Alabama on Saturday. Each week honors an offensive, defensive, and unsung hero of the game. Look inside to see which players get honored this week.

OFFENSE: Brandon Barden

Barden, a senior tight end from Lincolnton, Ga., caught two passes for 34 yards. His first half 31-yard reception from Larry Smith was Vanderbilt's biggest gain of the game.

DEFENSE: Archibald Barnes

Barnes, a junior linebacker from Tampa, Fla., finished with eight tackles including six solos.
