Players of the Week

The Vanderbilt Commodores defeated Army 44-21 on Saturday. Each week honors an offensive, defensive, and unsung hero of the game. Look inside to see which players get honored this week.

OFFENSE: Zac Stacy

Stacy, a junior running back from Centreville, Ala., ran for 198 yards on 21 carries and scored touchdowns on runs of 1, 8 and 55 yards. Stacy now has 579 yards rushing on the season for 5 touchdowns.


Lohr, a junior defensive tackle from Phoenixville, Pa., finished the game with seven tackles, 1 sack, 1 1/2 tackles for losses, a forced fumble and a recovered fumble. Lohr currently leads the Commodores in sacks with 3 1/2.


Bridges, a redshirt freshman offensive lineman from Atlanta, Ga., started at left tackle in place of Wesley Johnson who was temporarily moved back to center while Logan Stewart served his suspension in the first half. Bridges played well and helped the Commodores to finish with no sacks allowed. Recommended Stories
