The Vanderbilt Commodores fell to Arkansas, 31-28, on Saturday. Each week VandyMania.com honors an offensive, defensive, and unsung hero of the game. Look inside to see which players get honored this week.

OFFENSE: Jordan Matthews

Matthews, a sophomore wide receiver from Huntsville, Ala., caught six passes for 151 yards. His 21-yard scoring reception in the first quarter gave Vanderbilt an early 7-0 lead.

DEFENSE: Casey Hayward

Hayward, a senior cornerback from Perry, Ga., finished the game with four tackles and broke up an impressive five passes.

UNSUNG HERO AWARD: Kyle Fischer

Fischer, a senior offensive tackle from Columbia, S.C., was a key factor in Vanderbilt piling up over 200 yards rushing on the No. 8 team in the nation.
