While Brian Kimbrow and Will Redmond were putting up big offensive numbers at Memphis East this season, it was Herbert Moore who anchored the Mustang defense from defensive tackle. The 6-foot-2, 320-pound junior was an sizable presence on the defensive line, but missed most of East's last two games of the season with an ankle injury. Moore talked about offers and more here...

"It was October 28th in our game against Whitehaven that the injury occurred," said Herbert Moore. "It was a lower ankle sprain. It's getting better. We lost in the first round to Clarksville Northeast, and I felt ashamed being on the sidelines because the team really needed me."
