Vanderbilt lands big time receiver

"I'd like to let everyone know that...My commitment goes to the Vanderbilt Commodores!" tweeted 6-foot-3 wide receiver Carlos Burse from Alpharetta, Ga.

Last season at Alpharetta, Burse caught 52 passes for 857 yards and 13 touchdowns. He's a 3-star commit on Scout.com and rated 4-stars by at least one other national recruiting service.

His big frame and ball catching abilities have attracted the attention of many BCS programs in addition to Vandy. Oklahoma, Florida, Virginia Tech, Tennessee and others have also extended offers to Burse.
