After each game VandyMania.com names an offensive and defensive player of the week. We also name an unsung hero of the week. Look inside to see who gets the honors this week.

OFFENSE

Zac Stacy, running back

Stacy, a senior from Centreville, Ala., rushed for 83 yards on 12 carries for an almost 7-yard per rush average. Stacy now has 2,343 career rushing yards.
DEFENSE

Richard Kent, punter

Kent, a senior from Marietta, Ga., had nine punts for a 45.7 yard average. He had a long boot of 62 yards and had three of his punts land inside Georgia's 20. Kent is currently ranked 16th nationally in punting with an over 45 yard average.
UNSUNG HERO

Jared Morse, defensive tackle

Morse, a junior from Oxford, Ala., made Vanderbilt's only sack of the game when in the first quarter he dropped Aaron Murray for a 4-yard loss. Morse had 3 tackles during the game including one assist for lost yardage. He also broke up a pass during the game.
