Two of last week’s picks turned out to be mistakes of epic proportions. Mississippi State was revealed be a fraud after all, and the Kentucky Mildcats turned out to be much, much worse than anyone expected.

Louisiana-Lafayette @ Florida – The Gators have been having trouble scoring. Fortunately, their opponents are having MORE trouble scoring. I’d take the under in this game. Florida 17 – LaLa 3

Auburn @ Georgia – More cruise control for Georgia. UGA 45 – Auburn 12

Mississippi State @ LSU – Les Miles may be the worst game-time coach I’ve seen since Woody, but his mistakes won’t matter against MSU. LSU 28 – MSU 10

Missouri @ Tennessee – The Tigers don’t have the big-play ability to outscore the Vols, but it could be close. UTK 45 – Mizzou 35

Arkansas @ South Carolina – Arkansas is just rying to get the season over with. The Gamecocks want to demonstrate they are a force to reckon with even without a great running back. Bad combo for the Pigs. USC 34 – Pigs 14

Texas A&M @ Alabama – The Tide probably learned some valuable lessons against LSU last week. Mainly that to play winning football, you need to block and tackle. I could pick this the other way were it not that the game is is Tuscaloosa. Alabama 24 – TAMU 13

Vanderbilt @ Mississippi – Mississippi may be slightly favored, but this is basically a pick ‘em game. I fear that, regardless of Coach Franklin’s one game at a time mantra, the ‘Dores will be looking forward to the upcoming home game against the Evil Orange Empire. Mississippi 24 – Vandy 23.
