Vandy headed to Music City Bowl

The long wait is over. Vanderbilt learned today that it will face NC State in the Music City Bowl in Nashville.

This is Vanderbilt's second consecutive season playing in a bowl game which is a program first. It will also be the third bowl game for Vandy since the 2007 season. That number equals the number of bowl games the Commodore program participated in from 1890 to 2007.

Vanderbilt previously played in the Music City Bowl in 2008 when it defeated Boston College, 16-14.
