Effort. Passion. Desire. The Vanderbilt Commodores, in ownership of those precious gems, are continuing to play hard in the midst of a Murphy's Law season. However, this intense team – one that plays with fire – is also playing with fire in the other sense of the expression… and is getting burned. Late-game carelessness is the main reason why VU is 2-6 in the SEC instead of 5-3.
