A look at how Signing Day turned out and some of the key questions that were answered -- and the drama that remains.

Who's No. 1?

Ohio State edged past their chief nemesis, Michigan, to finish at the top of the recruiting class rankings.

Alabama finished third after a strong close on Signing Day and Notre Dame came in at fourth while UCLA finished fifth.

LSU, Texas A&M, Georgia, Florida and Ole Miss rounded out the top 10.

Where would Nkemdiche go?

The general consensus was that the No. 1 player in the country, Robert Nkemdiche, would end up at Ole Miss.

And that's what happened to kick off the craziness of the day.  Nkemdiche committed to Ole Miss early Wednesday morning.

The Rebels also added the nation's No. 1 offensive tackle, Laremy Tunsil, and the No. 3 safety, Antonio Conner.

What would Foster do?

Reuben Foster committed to Alabama once, when he was living in Georgia. Then he moved to the city of Auburn in Alabama and committed to the Tigers, complete with a tattoo.

On Monday night on FOX Sports South, he committed again to the Tide.

Chris Jones sparked a heated recruiting battle in Mississippi.

And the the Tide got his Letter of Intent on Wednesday morning. Foster even wore a Nick Saban-style straw hat for the occasion.

Which way for Chris Jones?

The under-the-radar Chris Jones committed to Mississippi State in the fall, a relative unknown who the Bulldogs were content to keep that way.

Then he blew up at the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Classic and again at the Under Armour All-America Game. He's now a five-star defensive end, No. 2 at the position.

Ole Miss was trying to stick it to their rivals and take Jones, while the Bulldogs did what they can to hold on to their one-time diamond in the rough.

Tuesday night, it looked like he would flip to Ole Miss.

But Wednesday morning, Mississippi State got Jones' Letter of Intent, ending the drama.

West Coast or national for Vanderdoes?

Auburn (Calif.) Placer five-star defensive tackle Eddie Vanderdoes was the last of the marquee prospects to make an announcement on Signing Day.

And Notre Dame loved where they sat when the day was over.

The ninth-ranked player overall chose the Irish over Alabama, UCLA, USC and Washington on Signing Day.

Any Signing Day drama?

The big drama is in Florida, where five-star Alex Collins, who committed to Arkansas on Monday, is waiting to sign his Letter of Intent.

The only problem? His mom has confiscated it.

Mom doesn't want Collins gone, and she won't sign his Letter of Intent, or let Collins sign it. Reports indicated that Collins was trying to get his dad to sign instead.

So Bret Bielema and his staff wait to see what happens and if Collins, will in fact, sign with the Razorbacks.
