It wasn't quite as easy as Friday as things got a little messy in the eighth but Vanderbilt pulled off another win over Oregon on Saturday. Tyler Beede was solid and Brian Miller was the hero as things started to unravel late. Tony Kemp, again, was a key to several of the Commodores' runs.

Pitcher
Brian Miller
came in the seventh inning with the bases loaded and two outs and VU clinging to a 3-1 lead. Miller got the job done and stuck out the final batter with no runs allowed.
After Vandy added a run in the top of the eighth via a Kemp double, the Ducks took advantage of Commodore errors in the bottom of the inning to add a run. That would close out the game's scoring, however. Vandy would still prevail 4-2. The Commodores go for a sweep tomorrow at 2 pm. CT.
