Tony Kemp: Kemp had another phenomenal week going 9-for-17 with 2 RBIs, 5 scored runs, a stolen base and three doubles. Kemp had hits in Saturday's game 1 win over UK. Had three hits in Sunday's win over the Cats.
Tyler Beede: Beede (photo at right) won his 13th game of the season against zero losses, which ties the VU record for wins in a single season. On Sunday Beede pitched 5.1 innings allowing 2 runs, one earned, on two hits. Beede's season ERA is a stellar 1.73 with 86 strikeouts.
Mike Yastrzemski: Had a key 2-run double in Saturday second game. Had five hits including three doubles during the week.
Kevin Ziomek: Pitched Vanderbilt to a win over Kentucky in Saturday's first game, which was his 10th victory of the season. Ziomek (10-2, 2.00 ERA) has 92 strikeouts on the season.
Conrad Gregor: Had three hits in Sunday's win over the Cats. Batting .300 with 36 RBIs in 2013.
Vince Conde: Conde finished the week going 5-for-12 (.417) with two RBIs. He's batting .328 on the season with 6 homers.
Xavier Turner: Went 5-for-14 for the week with a double, 3 RBIs and a stolen bases. Batting .310 on the season.
Brian Miller: Miller finished the week with an uncharacteristic 9.0 ERA! He pitched only one inning (against Presbyterian) and allowed 2 hits and an earned run for the lofty ERA. He still has a sparkling 1.08 ERA on the season with 35 strikeouts.
Connor Harrell (photo at left): Had a home run, 3 RBIs and 3 runs scored in Saturday's first game against Kentucky. Batting .319 with 10 home runs on the season.
Carson Fulmer: Pitched a scoreless inning in the win over Presbyterian and pitched 3.1 solid innings in the 5-3 Saturday win over UK and had 4 strikeouts while allowing a pair of hits and an earned run. Fulmer's season ERA sits at a very solid 2.83 with 38 strikeouts.
Steven Rice: Rice was one of the heroes in Sunday's win over the Cats. He took over in the fourth inning and shut down the Cat's threat and finished the game. Rice struck out five and walked just one while allowing a pair of hits and no runs in earning a save. Rice's ERA is 3.04 with 23 strikeouts on the season.
Spencer Navin: Went 2-for-3 and hit his fourth homer of the season in the win over Presbyterian. Had three hits in Sunday's SEC title clinching victory over the Cats. Season average is at .321.
Jack Lupo: Lupo went 5-for-13 for the week (.385) with an RBI, double and a walk. Lupo's season BA sits at .314 with 22 RBIs.
T.J. Pecoraro: Pitched three scoreless inning in the win over Presbyterian. Gave up eight hits and five earned runs while striking out two in the Sunday win over Kentucky. Season ERA at 4.56.
Walker Buehler: Buehler pitched three innings in game 1 on Saturday striking out two and walking one in his hometown of Lexington. His season ERA is a strong 2.45.
Zander Wiel: Had a home run and three RBIs in Saturday game 1 against UK. Wiel finished the week with a sub .200 batting but on the season is batting .288 with 19 RBIs and four homers.
Vanderbilt 45-6 (24-2 SEC) has won 13 straight series this season and 17 straight dating back to last season and wrapped up the SEC regular season title with the Sunday win over Kentucky. The 24-2 conference start is the league's best record ever through 26 games. Vanderbilt's team batting average is .319 (opponents .212) with a 2.55 ERA (opponents 6.66 versus Vandy)
