Cole Hardin picks Vanderbilt

Cole Hardin

Florence, Alabama offensive lineman Cole Hardin has committed to Vanderbilt according to a post on twitter by the player. Hardin, a 3-star Scout.com prospect, is the tenth player to verbal to the Commodores 2014 recruiting class.

Earlier in June Cole Hardin had named Vanderbilt and Georgia Tech as his top two schools.

"They have a great combination of top-class academics, with great football too," said Hardin. "I want to study business, and having Nashville or Atlanta for internship possibilities is a great asset."

Hardin had apparently recently visited Vandy and that visit must have gone well. In addition to Vanderbilt and Tech, the 6-foot-4, 290 pound lineman had offers from Arkansas State, Cincinnati, UConn, Memphis, MTSU, Minnesota, South Alabama, South Florida, Southern Miss, Tulane, UAB and Wake Forest.
