"I am honored and flattered that they would consider me for that
job, but I think I have one of the best jobs in the country right here at
Vanderbilt. The administration has shown a tremendous amount of support for
the program and I believe we are building something special here."
"Tim Corbin is a Vanderbilt Commodore and we couldn¹t be more pleased in
saying that," said Vice Chancellor David Williams. ³Tim is the face of our
program and he is carving out a special place in our history with his
tireless efforts and first class results. We want Vanderbilt to be his
coaching home for many years to come."
Corbin is 144-95 in four seasons at Vanderbilt. The Commodores went 38-27
this past season and advanced to the championship games of the SEC
tournament and at the NCAA Atlanta Regional. He is also the head coach of
the USA National Team and will depart for summer competition on Friday.
