Scouting Auburn

Auburn enters SEC play after suffering a 56-54 setback at Southern Miss on Wednesday. The Tigers had won four of five before the loss.

The Tigers have five players averaging double figures led by Korvotney Barber (13.5 ppg). The SEC’s leader in field goal shooting percentage (.651), Barber is one of three players to start every game this season for Lebo. Barber also is a force inside with 50 of his 107 rebounds coming on the offensive end -- second most among SEC players. He also ranks fifth in the league with 38 blocks. Quantez Robertson is a gifted floor leader and defender, currently tied for first in the SEC in assists (5.27 apg) and tied for sixth in steals (2.07).

Auburn was picked to finish fifth in the SEC Western Division by the league’s media.
