Offensive guard Evan Ellis will be camping at several schools this summer in hopes of receiving his first offers.

The 6-1, 270-pound guard from Elizabethton, TN is being heavily recruited by Furman, Tennessee Tech, Penn, Harvard, Princeton and Yale. He recently returned from a camp at Vanderbilt.

“I’m not sure which of those schools will offer, but I’ve got a feeling the coaches at Tennessee Tech might. They seem to be pretty high on me. The Ivy League schools seem really interested too.”

Ellis cites academics as his top priority in choosing a college. He does not have a timeframe for his decision.
