Vanderbilt post signee A.J. Ogilvy has dominated at the 2007 FIBA U19 World Championships in Serbia. Through three games he is averaging 20.7 points, 8.3 rebounds and 2.7 blocks while shooting 80.6 percent from the field.

Ogilvy has led Australia to three big victories in three days. On Thursday Ogilvy scored 17 points and pulled down 4 rebounds in leading the team from down under to a 77-65 win over Turkey.

On Friday Ogilvy contributed 19 points, 3 rebounds and 4 steals in Australia's 77-73 win over Nigeria. Ogilvy also had 2 blocks in that win.

On Saturday Ogilvy had 26 points and a remarkable 18 rebounds in an 81-70 victory over Canada.

A happy Australian assistant coach Tim Mallon reflected on Ogilvy's impressive showing against Canada, "Ogilvy was outstanding. He was an irresistible, dominant force in the paint and full credit should go to the players around him who were able to utilize his skills and talent.”

Next up for Ogilvy and his teammates is South Korea. The tournament runs through July 22.
