Through four games in Serbia Ogilvy has made 80 percent (36 of 45) of his 2-point field goal attempts and 73.9 percent (17 of 23) of his free throw attempts in building a 22.3 point per game average.
Vanderbilt head coach Kevin Stallings had this to say about Ogilvy's FIBA play during the Monday SEC Basketball Coaches Teleconference, "I haven't seen him play but he is a guy that we are looking forward to having. I think he's the third or fourth leading scoring over there in the under 19s. He's a big guy that knows how to play and has had very good coaching and is probably pretty advanced for his age; he's played a lot of international basketball. It's just one of those things, we are looking forward to getting him, we're not sure where he'll be in terms of his progress and development when we first get him but we do feel like there is a lot to work with. We think he's going to be a very good player and we think he has a chance to contribute right away."
Ogilvy and his teammates are competing in the 2007 FIBA U19 World Championship in Serbia which runs through July 22.
