Nice week last week....maybe I DO know something. This week though I could miss them all, with all of the close, virtually pick-em games. Well thanks for La Tech and LSU...I won't miss that one. All of the others could literally go either way.

For those of you who want to see picks against the spread, go elsewhere. For the rest of you.........

Alabama @ Mississippi State – Southern football at its best right here in this game. This is the one to watch. Mississippi State has had a week off to prepare, and the Crimson Tide is coming off a disheartening loss at home to LSU. MSU has surprised me all year, so I'll take a chance on them this time and pick MSU 17 – Ala 13.

Florida @ South Carolina – The Evil Genius just hasn't been able to pull any rabbits out the hat this year. If he sticks his hand in into his hat for this game, he may just pull out a Gator. Florida 31 - Chickens 14.

Louisiana Tech @ LSU – Maybe this will be the week LSU doesn't have to go for it on fourth down three or four times just to stay in the game. LSU by 45.

Arkansas @ UTK – The large orange has been a juggernaut at home this year, and that's where they are for this game. This one should be close, but high-scoring. Take the over on this game, whatever that is. Vols 45 – Pigs 35.

Auburn @ Georgia – Both teams are playing to stay in the hunt for the SEC championship. Comparing Vandy's results against these two teams, it hard to pick against the Plainsmen. Auburn 24 – Doggies 21.

Kentucky @ Vanderbilt – VU could play three times better than they played at Florida as still lose. Their inability to get the ball to Earl (or anybody) down the field will ultimately spell doom for the Commodores. UK 42 VU 19.
