There have been very few Vanderbilt players ever drafted in first round of the NFL draft. Saturday Vandy's Chris Williams joined that elite group when the Chicago Bears made him their pick at the No. 14 spot of the initial round. VandyMania's Stan Jones was there and captured these images.

Vanderbilt fans gathered at Bailey's in Nashville to support Chris Williams while he waits to find out who will draft him.

As the draft continues Williams anxiously watches the TV screen while waiting for that phone call.

Commodore fans watch and listen for their star's name.
