College GameDay Friday Photos

On Friday afternoon, the crew from ESPN'S College GameDay took the stage on the Commons at Vanderbilt in front of hundreds of rabid students and fans. Whitney D shares these photos from the afternoon.

By a happy coincidence, GameDay's first ever visit to the Vanderbilt campus happened to coincide with Parents' Weekend at Vanderbilt. While the inner circle was packed with students, many moms and dads lined up along the outer fence to watch the spectacle.








Fans who enter into the inner circle are strictly prohibited from bringing any type of bags into the enclosure. So Lauren Lueders volunteered to be the keeper of the bags so that some of her teammates from the women's basketball team could join the students in front of the stage.




Gates open at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday show that airs from 9-11 a.m. Students and fans will not be allowed to line up before 6:00 a.m. If you're planning to get into the inner circle, please keep in mind that the the following items are prohibited:

Backpacks
Bags
Vulgar signs
Political signs
Alcohol
Flash photography
Projectiles
