PETE’S PIGSKIN PROGNOSTICATIONS
Pete Fox (VM/Brent Wiseman)
By
Pete Fox
Posted Nov 13, 2008
It is almost inconceivable to me that UTK lost to Wyoming. While I love to see the big orange lose, it means they will have a week off to rededicate themselves and prepare to try to erase the embarrassment with a pummeling of VU in two weeks.
Week 10
(6-1 last week; 60-12 overall)
How the mighty have fallen...
Mississippi State
@
Alabama
-- The Tide almost tripped up against the Tigers, but should have no problem against the Bulldogs. Alabama by 26.
Georgia
@
Auburn
– The Dawgs forgot to play defense against the Big Blue, and it almost cost them. Fortunately, defense wasn’t the priority with
Kentucky
either. Auburn has neither offense or defense, and EVERYBODY beats Auburn. GA by 17.
South Carolina
@
Florida
– The Gators are currently one of the best football teams I have ever seen. If they can keep their focus, they will dominate the Chickens. No one will be talking about the SC defense after this game. Florida by 28.
Troy
@
LSU
– Troy’s athletic budget gets a boost, and LSU gets a little breather. LSU by 38.
La-Monroe @ Mississippi – Another late-season yawner for the SEC. Mississippi by 25.
Vanderbilt
@ Kentucky –Everybody in the SEC knows how to beat the Commodores now. Sell out to stop the run in the first 20 minutes of the game, and you’ll probably have a 14 or 21 point lead at halftime. By the time VU shakes off their coach-induced lethargy, it will once again be too late. This may not be a SOV team, but it’s sure been getting SOV results. Kentucky 27 – Vandy 17.
