Marlon White, a 6-foot-5, 185-pound wide receiver prospect from Westside High School in Macon, Ga., has become the 13th player to verbally commit to Vanderbilt for the signing class of 2003, according to The Tennessean.
White set a school record at Westside with 1,487 career receiving yards and 71 career catches. With 22 catches for 573 yards this past season, White led Coach Robert Davis' Seminoles into the third round of the AAAAA playoffs in Georgia and to a season record of 11-2. White also played free safety on defense for the Seminoles, and is currently playing on the Westside basketball team.
