Georgia

Second half collapse gives Vanderbilt 34-10 loss to Georgia.
OFFENSIVE STAR OF THE GAME
TE No. 6
Brandon Barden
Brandon gave Vanderbilt its third touchdown score of the season against SEC opponents when he snared a 5-yard pass from
Larry Smith
early in the third quarter. Barden finished with 5 catches for 49 yards. Barden will have to step up his play now with
Austin Monahan
out for the season.
DEFENSIVE STAR OF THE GAME
DT No. 56
Greg Billinger
Two Georgians, senior Greg Billinger, along with sophomore
T.J. Greenstone
helped get some pressure on Bulldog quarterback
Joe Cox
and kept things from getting really ugly. Billinger had 4 tackles, a quarterback hurry and a sack. The second quarter sack of Cox helped to prevent another Georgia score.
UNSUNG HEROES OF THE GAME
LT No. 76
Thomas Welch
TE No. 86 Austin Monahan
Both Monahan and Welch each left the game not once, but twice for injuries. These players both could have sat out the rest of the game but each returned to help the Commodores fight back before eventually leaving again because of further injuries. VandyMania salutes these fine players.
