The Yankees selected right-handed pitcher Caleb Cotham in the fifth round of the 2009 MLB Draft out of Vanderbilt University. Plagued by injuries in his young career already, including knee surgery right before the draft and shoulder surgery in 2010, he finally got his first extended action as a professional in 2011.
