Vanderbilt waded into the swamp on Saturday and came away with a victory there for the first time since World War II was wrapping up in 1945. It was the first Commodores win anywhere over the Gators since the first George Bush was in office (1988) and could set up another late November run to high level bowl eligibility which is quickly becoming a James Franklin trademark.
