Facing a tough Kentucky squad in Lexington, Vanderbilt dropped its SEC opener on Saturday. A second-half drought doomed the Commodores, who were playing without leading scorer A.J. Ogilvy, as the Wildcats won 70-60. The ‘Dores return home for the first time in 2009 on Wednesday, hosting the Georgia Bulldogs in the first of eight SEC games in Memorial Gym.
