Helped Hargrave to a 25-3 record in 2002 and a First Piedmont Invitational championship. He scored a season-high 32 points in a 105-100 win over Celestial Prep School. Had 28 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists against New Hampton Prep. A three-time first team all-state selection at Westbury. Named the district MVP as a senior. Led Westbury Christian to three consecutive (1999, 2000 and 2001) TAPPS Class 3A state titles. Teams had a 96-19 record in his three seasons. As a senior at Westbury Christian School in Houston, Texas, he averaged 23.6 points, 5.2 rebounds and 5 assists. Coached by Greg Glenn at Westbury Christian.
